Honest Fabletics Outfit Review
Sorry, my next blog has taken so long, I’ve had my own problems personally to deal with, but finally back on track in my head and just wanting to put myself, my success and happiness first for once. The other week I was sent my first outfit from the company, Fabletics, which is an activewear brand co-founded by Kate Hudson. I will link the website at the end if you’re interested but as the title of my blog suggests – I promise I’m not just going to gush over everything I write about, as usual just an honest opinion 😊
This is the full Narla 3-Piece Outfit here - I got a pair of leggings, a sports bra and a jacket. (I’ll admit now that the jacket is my favourite haha)
I got the high-waisted leggings in black cherry, size S – I bought the size small because the size guide referenced this as the same as a UK size 10. I struggle with leggings a lot, as I am a small girl with quite wide hips and a small waist – so finding leggings that fit my hips without being baggy on my waist is difficult.
Honestly, maybe I was kidding myself a little getting a small – as they are slightly on the tight side for me personally. But I am hoping that while losing weight I’ll shrink into them fitting a little better – mainly over my bum and legs!
Cons – as they are Powerhold® and quite a thick material, you may want to consider the size up.
Pro’s! 😊 Firstly, I am obsessed with the colour – my own family has called this my colour of the year as everything I buy seems to be this colour. Secondly, I love high-waisted leggings, trying to move and squat and run – I hate the feeling of ‘spilling out’ over my leggings. These stay up and keep my belly sucked in, so really smoothing if you’re a little self-conscious of your pouch…On the subject of squats – the thick material is squat-proof tried and tested (by me!) so no awkward see through moments in the gym.
I nearly forgot – THEY HAVE POCKETS. That is the most useful thing in the world. That is all. :D
Eliza Seamless Sports Bra II – Purple/Black
The second part of the outfit is this seamless sports bra, I prefer wearing a bra under sports bras for extra support and have a reasonable sized chest…therefore decided to get myself a size medium in the purple/black colour.
I’m quite pale so prefer darker colours – the Maple looked way too pale for me! But the purple is a nice rich colour. My main point with this is that it’s not a sports bra that looks great with a bra underneath. The back bra strap and sides of the bra can easily be seen when the sports bra is pulled down to the proper place – If this bothers you, maybe opt for one with a higher back. I have worn it with no bra, and the fit is very nice, however I will always be more comfortable in a bra underneath.
First world boob problems haha.
I decided to get this jacket in a medium. Firstly, I like oversized jumpers, which secondly gives you so many layering options!
For versatility, I just got this in black, but I do absolutely adore it. It looks and feels very good quality and is really cosy. There is a big hood, and the length of the jacket comes just over my bum, which is perfect length as winter is coming. (GoT reference intended! :D )
I am quite a cold person, so the fact it has little thumb holes to keep the sleeves down is a big plus! It’s just really versatile as I feel like it isn’t just a piece of gym wear – e.g. it was my absolute saviour walking around LEGOLAND supervising a bunch of 8-year-olds in the rain last week!

Keeping up training and dieting has been really hard at the moment with personal battles and mental struggles. You start second guessing yourself and wondering whether all the work is worth it. I refuse to let others doubts ruin me – and I will push through and be better than ever.
Success will always be the best revenge.
